Boise CrossFit is a community driven strength and conditioning facility that develops individuals ages 12-74, athletes, and teams to reach there top level of fitness through constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.

What Makes Boise CrossFit Different?



When you walk in the doors, you will be greeted by any of our members, all excited to share our special gym with a soon-to-be friend. Whether it’s at an impromptu pancake feed, playing on the BCF softball team, or joining our club of ambassadors, you’re sure to make a new group of friends and embraced in this community.

Boise CrossFit is home to the most experienced CrossFit coaches in the Treasure Valley. We pride ourselves in being highly selective about our coaching staff and the standards our coaches adhere to. Many of our coaches are, or have been, competitive CrossFit athletes who can provide unique insight on how to approach a workout and the mental strength associated with training, as well as detailed explanation on movements.

Our programming is easily and regularly adjusted according to your own individual need or skillset and will challenge you no matter your experience (just check out our reviews!). Want more specialized help? Any of our coaches are happy to prescribe accessory work to help a member achieve their personal goals and we often host additional special clinics, each focusing on a different movement for you to master.

Do I need to be fit to do CrossFit?

CrossFit is for anyone, regardless of age or level of fitness. Our current member age rages from 8-73 and we represent all walks of life. You will be guided through the basics from day 1 and supported by our incredible community. It’s true that we are home to the some of the most elite CrossFit athletes in Idaho, but the vast majority of our members are everyday people that show up to push themselves, build new friendships and strengthen their body and mind.

Will I be lost in class?

As you walk in the doors, you will see an area to store your belongings and a computer for you to sign in (and sign a waiver if you have not already done so). When class begins, your coach will call you over and lead you thru a warm-up as a group. Upon completion, the coach will then direct you on what equipment to grab (or a PVC pipe if you’re learning technique), and guide you once again thru the strength/skill session and workout of the day (WOD). Even though ever very workout is different, the coach will always explain and demonstrate the workout and how to scale the movements according to your own particular needs.

What do I bring?

Wear basic workout clothes that you are able to move freely and comfortably in and we will provide everything else.

I had a previous injury, can I still do CrossFit?

While we are not physicians (and we always recommend you discuss any new workout programs with yours), we do find that many of our members have successfully used CrossFit to help rehabilitate from old injuries. We focus on strength and mobility, and always scale movements according to your own limitations. If you do have any injury or limitation, please contact us prior to showing up to class to let your coach know. Often, we will schedule 1-on-1 sessions prior to you coming to class.
