Whole Life Challenge Kick Off

Whole Life Challenge Kick Off

One last hurrah before the challenge begins!!

A lot going on today. At 10am we will be kicking off the Whole Life Challenge. 70 people have registered for this challenge with us!! The initial measurements and workout will happen at 10am. Clearly this will be a busy hour so please help us by being ready to start as heats are a sure bet. If you haven’t seen here is the WLC workout:

9 minute AMRAP (for max reps)
7 vertical kettlebell swings 24/16kg
7 burpees
50m shuttle run (25m out and back)

Our plan is to run heats of 10 or so ppl every 10-12 minutes. We’ve had about 6 folks do this so far and I think someone out there has 10+ rounds in them!!

The 11am workout will be

Tabata row
Rest 1 minute
Tabata handstand push-up
Rest 1 minute
Tabata pistols (alternating)
Rest 1 minute
Tabata medicine ball cleans

The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals.Tabata score is the least number of reps performed in any of the eight intervals. Unit for the row is calories.

Andy, you did a great job in keeping the challenge running smoothly and efficiently, what great comradery! I had a good time, hope you all did too! Now to beat that time in a few months!

70 people?!? That’s amazing! Is that gym members only or does it include friends and family? Ditto Meredith’s comments–thanks, Andy!
